Yes. This post sounds a little strange, but Friday was a paid holiday and I had purchased a Groupon to go indoor sky diving at iFly SF in Union City about 8 months ago. It was a date we had planned on going on for awhile, but since Mando and I both work now, our days off never overlap. This Groupon was also going to expire soon so having this day off allowed us to go ahead and finally try out this experience.
As you can see, we had a good time. It was recommended to wear loose, fitting comfortable clothes and sneakers, which I did.The experience was very surreal. I've had dreams before where I could fly, but to actually experience it was awesome! It was not easy in the beginning, especially because you are trying to place your body in a certain position while a huge force of wind is keeping you up. I don't know if I would ever go sky diving off a plane since I have a small fear of heights, but I would come back here to do some more indoor skydiving! I'd like to learn the tricks and be able to fly higher next time.
After this adventure, Armando and I headed to In-and Out to have some burgers and animal style fries. We then decided to catch a movie since the theater was right next door in the Union Landing Shopping Center. We watched The Hunger Games due to all its recent hype and we were both curious about the movie. ( We had not read the books either). It was a great movie, great cast, and although it was a little disturbing seeing children dying, it was nice seeing in the end that love conquers all.
