I dressed so inappropriately for the first day of October (which was why there was no post)!
I wore a long-sleeve t-shirt and jeans on Monday, and was a sweaty mess by the end of the day because of the unexpected heat wave. I dressed a little more prepared for the weather today, and look like I don't belong in a cubicle. I belong in a tropical resort, or in the dessert (like in Vegas). All I would need is a floppy hat to really complete the look.
The belt I choose this time almost matches my skin perfectly. It look like I was showing some serious skin. For a strapless dress without boning (or a corset top) wearing a belt also provides support and keeps the dress up. Another modification from the last time I wore this dress was tucking in the piece of fabric on top and wearing my peacock necklace. Almost looks like it is a part of the dress.
A green dress like this cannot go wrong with dark browns and navy accessories.
